        INTRODUCTION

Well, I started this blog since I've been into eBooks and eBook Readers for quite some time. I've been reading eBooks since 2003/2004 on my PC but I still prefer the physical books that time, still am sometimes. I wanted to have a dedicated portable eReader not just reading on a cellphone. Those hurts my eyes pretty bad.

Anyway, I didn't start looking into it until 2009. And finally got one on November of that year. It was a Maroon EZ Reader Pocket Pro. It looks like this:

I love the look of this and it's functionality as compared to the 1st Gen Kindle. That one is so bulky and ugly looking. Also what sold me is, it's affordability. During that time I bought it for only $199 + plus S&H, the same price with a Sony PRS300. But with more features, more bang for my buck. Till now I'm using it.

I posted my review for the EZ Reader Pocket Pro HERE.

Then last year Kindle introduce the Kindle 3 with the Pearl e-Ink screen which I'm obsessing about. The text is so sharp and crisp. So dark it looks like a real book, sometimes much better especially since you can adjust the text size and fonts. Even though it only reads mobi/prc, azw, text and topaz files. I bought one because I totally love the Pearl eInk Screen.

Here's a comparison look of my 2 eReaders:

And now, Nook Touch is out for only $139 and I'm very much tempted to buy one. Take a look at this sexy gadget.

Hmmm... Yum! I want one... :) Though I can't justify having three ereaders right now. Help me out?!? LOL

P.S.: Before y'all comment about the Nook Color, iPad and Tablets out there I find those only for people who love to read magazine, comic books and children books. And the other features like apps, browsing the web is just a distraction on my reading pleasure. When I read, I want to immerse myself into the book I'm reading without interruptions.

But if they will make a much better colored e-Ink than what is available right now and very affordable, I will definitely get one of those. ;)
